Because you have made your way to this page, without question you have something to offer our patients at Seva Hospice and their families. It is people like you that make a difference and help to improve the quality of life for our patients as they are faced with a life-limiting illness. Thank you for your desire to help make a difference.
Our volunteers are a crucial part of the Seva Hospice care team and there are many ways to lend your talents. Volunteers participate in a wide range of activities from general office support to visiting patients, or making follow-up calls and running errands, perhaps helping with special events or walking someone’s dog would suit you. No matter how you would like to help, we have a place for you!
Patient & Family Support
Patient Care Volunteers provide compassionate, non-medical care to patients and families who are faced with a life-limiting illness. Volunteers serve as advocates and become a vital part of the patient care team. Many times, by providing a listening ear, our simple act becomes the most meaningful help we can offer. Some other activities may include playing cards, reading a book, writing letters, or helping with light errands or walking someone’s dog.
